Meet the Team
MARCOS LITTERIO
Founder & Head ProfessorBrazilian-born American citizen, Professor Marcos’s life took a defining turn after surviving a kidnapping in Sao Paulo, Brazil, fighting off three armed aggressors in a struggle for a gun and ultimately reclaiming control of his life.
A few years after this traumatic experience he moved to the US with wife and son, leaving behind a successful career in multinational corporations and entrepreneurship to pursue a deeper calling in martial arts. He began his Jiu-Jitsu journey alongside his young son, who started training at just 5 years old and is now 19.
A former triathlete who completed marathons, triathlons, and Ironman races, Marcos has always been driven by resilience, discipline, and the pursuit of personal growth. Those same values became the foundation of his Jiu-Jitsu journey.
He started training in Miami, FL under Master Rilion Gracie and, nearly 14 years later, earned his black belt directly from the legendary instructor himself. This achievement gave him the honor of being a direct student of a second-generation member of the Gracie family and one of the most respected names in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Today, Professor Marcos is the founder and head coach of Rilion Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Littleton, where he is committed to helping students build confidence, discipline, resilience, and the skills to overcome challenges both on and off the mats.
Every challenge in his life became a lesson. Every lesson became purpose. And that purpose is now shared with the Littleton community every day on the mats.

ENZO LITTERIO
CoachSon of Professor Marcos Litterio, Enzo began his martial arts journey at just 3 years old in Judo before transitioning to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 5. He trained for many years under the guidance of Professor Roggan Gracie at the headquarters of Rilion Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in Miami, where he developed a strong technical foundation rooted in the Gracie lineage.
As a junior competitor, Enzo earned multiple medals at local, state, and national tournaments. One of his notable achievements was earning 3rd Place at the Kids International Championship in Las Vegas, competing against some of the country’s top young athletes.
Growing up on the mats, Jiu-Jitsu became more than a sport—it became a way of life. Training alongside his father, Professor Marcos, and under the mentorship of Master Rilion Gracie and the Gracie family, Enzo developed not only technical skills but also the discipline, confidence, and respect that define authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Now 19 years old, Enzo continues his Jiu-Jitsu journey while attending college. Whenever he is home from school, he assists with classes at Rilion Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Littleton, helping mentor the next generation of students and sharing the values that have shaped him since childhood.
